I also found this model kit plus a complete set of paints and brushes in the garage. These are rare, out of production, and extremely hard to find. I found this on eBay back when I was younger (I used to build lots of spaceship models) but decided I wasn’t good enough yet to justify de-pristineifying such a sough-after model kit. I put it away for myself, with paints and brushes, as a sort of time capsule to build another day. The new Trek movie is doing very well and everyone seems to like it so I think that day has come. :)
