Today I saw various tweets and Facebook updates about people heading off on summer tours of Europe with their music ensembles, and I thought back to my jaunt through Italy in 2008 with recording gear in tow. Coincidentally, I now finally own a MOTU Traveler (purchased to replace the 828mk3 lost by UPS), which was the recording interface I really wanted to take with me on that trip but couldn’t afford at the time.
