I don’t quite understand why we can’t have stock Skyline GT-Rs shipped fully assembled to the US. There’s nothing technically wrong with them that makes them unsafe to drive on our public roads, yet laws exist that make you jump through all these hoops of shipping the drivetrain in separately and fitting it after the fact.

The Skyline GT-R could occupy the title of “best car ever to come out of Japan”, if they ever actually let the damn thing out of Japan.

Speaking of cars that are difficult to import, anyone know where I can get a 2005 JDM NSX-R GT? It’s even harder to find than the Skyline, apparently.
