Personally, I desire a romantic relationship where each partner challenges the other. Their interactions would be fraught with searing attacks and clever rejoinders. With each tussle they grow and learn. Their continuous state of war prevents them from ever falling to prey to complacency and stale repetition. Together, they form a feedback loop that propels them into a higher plane of learning and understanding.

Although there seems to be a harsh exterior to this relationship, they both recognize the benefits they gain from it. They may vehemently disagree with their partner’s point of view, but they nevertheless value the opposition which keeps them auspicious. This mutual respect and appreciation breeds an affection which reflects the intensity in their debates
