The fact that I’ve been blogging very little is actually a very good thing - means I’m too busy doing cool stuff. I’ve just now found a bit of downtime and some free wifi so I thought I’d pop my head into the blogosphere for a quick hello!

I am in the lobby of a spa somewhere outside the city of Kofu in Yamanashi, Japan. In this facility there is only one masseur so while my delightful traveling companion gets her treatment, I am using their free wifi. For the most part my trip is a private experience and I feel no need to overload the blogosphere with every last detail, there will be pictures and I will comment on some highlights. I am happily taking advantage of every day here to see and do as much as possible, and sleeping very well every night as a result.

In 48 hours I’ll be back to the big city (Tokyo) but for now I consider myself lucky that I get to come all the way out here - I’m sure it’s something foreigners get to do only very rarely.
