Reformatted my machine and found a great picture of my latest obsession (the Devialet D-Premier) as a new background. Clean install is so clean. I find that given the kind of computering I do (custom scripts in custom paths with custom conf files etc) it’s good to reset every year or two. I think I’m going to be stricter about using VMs and stuff like virtualenv to separate project-specific stuff from global stuff on my machine. I’m also going to figure out how to buy a piece of audio equipment that costs 11k euros. Thinking about something along the lines of indentured servitude to a demanding french master.
