December is coming very soon, and December = thinking about what to get others for Christmas. As such I need to get this list out of my head before the month officially dawns.

-I like classical music on high-resolution formats such as SACD, DVD-Audio, and vinyl LP. At the moment my particular fascination is the piano, particularly solo piano though I hear good things about Rachmaninoff’s orchestral concertos featuring the instrument.

-I would really appreciate legitimate, full-version copies of the software I’ve been using for schoolwork and on my own - Native Instruments Reaktor, Logic Studio 9, iZotope RX, and iZotope Ozone, for example.

-My digital media storage/archiving situation is a bit of a mess at the moment. To that end I’d really appreciate either a Drobo or a Blu-ray burner - currently working on a 46GB project with no idea how to archive it when I’m finished. Sad face.

-I like surprises.

Hooray, that’s over with. Now the much more daunting task of picking things for other folks.
