Hoo-rah

The sci-fi soundscape composition that I posted last week has been selected for inclusion on the Music Tech website in the student work jukebox. I don’t know when they’ll actually post its, so here is the description I sent them along with it:

About me: I am a dual Music Technology and Computer Science major at NU, currently in my second year. My ultimate goal is to work on the software side of innovative new composition, production, and performance tools for music. My website isĀ http://miazmatic.com.
About this piece: This piece was inspired by the expansive, futuristic cityscapes in many a sci-fi epic such as Blade Runner. It samples both classical (Hector Berlioz) and contemporary music (The Prodigy) to imagine the soundscape of the future.
