Another has fallen to the scourge of blogitis. In an email announcing her defeat to me, she wrote:

of course i’m going to quote indie music

of course it’s going to be cynical

i can take out the snark

but i can’t take out the pretention.”

So, if you want to find yourself on the receiving end of my dear friend Bonnie’s harsh derision (Oh yeah. I still have that picture.) as I have for so many years, then mosey on over to her corner of the intertubes. 

Bonnie and I met under unusual circumstances, but are generally amazing friends. Her MacBook Pro (Why are you looking at me? It’s not like I had any influence on its purchase…) wears a green plastic shell which makes it look fabulous next to my purple one in snobby downtown Palo Alto cafés (and equally snobby law firm cafeterias).
