Amen to Coke Talk on this one. Once you hold a gun and fire it you realize that it’s an implement that can be learned and used properly, just like a power tool or a car, nothing more. More importantly, you realize that you can trust yourself with it, and then you get to think about who else you should (and just as importantly, should not) trust with it. I don’t plan to ever own one but it was refreshing for me to meet sane, level-headed people who do.
