Just over 24 hours ago, I got an email from a senior recruiter at Apple saying they had come upon my resumé (didn’t say how) and were interested in interviewing me for some positions in Apple’s core media group. I sent them back an updated resumé and explained that I am in college but would be interested in seeing what opportunities are available for the summer.

They called me for a phone interview today and expressed interest in having me work for them full time next summer (I had previously explained to them that I’m unavailable this year as I’m committed to Kalexo).

In 24 hours working for Apple went from being a pipe dream to being a plan, and to top it off it pounced on me from completely out of the blue.

The technical team lead I spoke with at Apple said I have more experience coming out of high school than most people do coming out of college, and that I could probably work for any group I wanted inside Apple. Apparently the resumé speaks for itself.

I sort of live for the days when people tell me things like that.
